TaylorMade AeroBurner

Following the launch of the AeroBurner family at the end of 2014, TaylorMade has today announced some new additions to the line with the introduction of the AeroBurner Mini Driver and AeroBurner irons.

The new clubs maintain the AeroBurner mantra and are ‘Made for Speed’ with the Mini Driver boasting many of the new aerodynamic features that can also be found in the AeroBurner driver and fairway woods.

The follow-up to the SLDR Mini Driver, the AeroBurner Mini Driver has a new aerodynamic shape with a shallow face, raised centre crown and new hosel fin all aimed at increasing clubhead speed and ball speed at impact for more distance.

The new Speed Pocket design increases the size of the sweet spot and reduces spin, while it also offers improved playability thanks to the larger hittable face area and decreased overall size.

The Mini Driver is also available in a tour TP model, which has been designed with a longer hosel, flatter lie and more open face angle, and is suited to the more accomplished player.

Brian Bazzel, TaylorMade’s senior director of metalwood creation, said: “The SLDR Mini Driver captivated the golfing public by delivering better 3-wood performance from the tee, the AeroBurner Mini Driver brings more speed and forgiveness to this popular new club type.”

The AeroBurner Mini Driver will be available in shops from March 27 in three loft options – 12, 14 & 16 – with an RRP of £219. For more information, log-on to taylormadegolf.co.uk

TaylorMade AeroBurner irons

TaylorMade say the new AeroBurner irons embrace the speed that is now synonymous with the AeroBurner family.

Playability and distance are the two main attributes offered by the AeroBurner irons as an up-to-the-limit COR face design to maximise ball speeds and a low centre of gravity to generate high launch and great feel has been installed.

“The AeroBurner iron breaks the mould of the typical distance iron” – Tomo Bystedt, TaylorMade’s director of iron product creation

The high-MOI clubhead design gives both forgiveness and stability, while the Speed Pocket has been configured to give higher launch and more ball speed on low-face mis-hits.

The new irons also have a longer blade length, more offset and a thicker top line, giving maximum confidence at address.

“The AeroBurner iron breaks the mould of the typical distance iron,” said Tomo Bystedt, TaylorMade’s director of iron product creation.

“Never before has up-to-the-limit COR speed and distance been delivered in such an easy-to-play package. Distance has now come to all golfers.”

The AeroBurner irons will be in shops from March 27, with an RRP of £599 (steel) and £699 (graphite). For more information log-on to taylormadegolf.co.uk

TaylorMade AeroBurner Pro ball

The new AeroBurner Pro golf ball completes the AeroBurner family line-up and is a three-piece ball engineered to give high ball speeds off the clubface. It has been designed to combine speed and distance with ‘tour-level stopping power’, with the spin control and soft feel coming from TaylorMade’s Spin Mantle and proprietary Iothane cover.

The AeroBurner Pro ball is available now with an RRP of £24.99. For more information, visit taylormadegolf.co.uk. You can also keep up-to-date on Twitter by following @TaylorMadeGolf.
