2. Sam & J.C. Snead

Seven-time major winner Sam Snead (above, right) was also a seven-time Ryder Cup player, winning on each occasion from 1937 to 1959 – twice as a playing captain. His nephew J.C. (Jesse Carlyle), played in three straight winning Ryder Cup teams from 1971 to 1975 – racking up an impressive 9-2-0 record.
