The RTAF-controlled course doesn’t seem all that dangerous – but that’s until you consider its proximity to the Don Mueang International Airport in Bangkok. The planes come so close to play that wake turbulence can affect the ball’s flight and aircraft are within reach of errant tee shots. A red light system is used to warn players of an imminent landing. How thoughtful.
