5 golf phenoms who flamed-out fast

Tadd Fujikawa

2. Tadd Fujikawa

As a 15-year-old, Hawaii-born Fujikawa qualified for the 2006 US Open Championship at Winged Foot, becoming the youngest player ever to earn a place in the year’s second major. Months later, at the age of 16 years and four days, he became the second youngest player ever to make the cut in a PGA Tour event.

He turned pro later that year - and promptly disappeared. He was most recently seen playing on the PGA Tour Canada last year and his appearance in the 2006 US Open remains his only major start to date.
