LIV Golf launches it’s fourth season in Saudi Arabia this week.
The breakaway league begins its 14-event calendar under the lights at Riyadh Golf Club, where LIV’s superstars Jon Rahm, Bryson DeChambeau and Brooks Koepka will return.
It was another winter of change at LIV, but the biggest move came in the boardroom, where Greg Norman was replaced by Scott O’Neil as the new CEO.

On the fairways, LIV have not made quite as much noise without a signing of the calibre of Jon Rahm, the two-time major champion who dominated the build-up to the 2024 campaign.
However, there have been six signings in total – most notably the final arrival in Rahm’s team.
Here are the new faces on the LIV Golf League ahead of the 2025 season…
Tom McKibbin
LIV’s most significant signing of the offseason was Rory McIlroy’s protege. McKibbin overlooked McIlroy’s advice to join Jon Rahm’s Legion XII team, completing a quartet that also includes Tyrrell Hatton and Caleb Surratt. By joining LIV, McKibbin gave up the chance to take his PGA Tour card that he had earned last season on the DP World Tour.
Ben Campbell
The New Zealander spent last season as a LIV Golf reserve and was unlucky not to earn his spot on the league as the champion of the Asian Tour’s International Series. However, Bubba Watson, who finished in LIV’s “Drop Zone” last season but has returned as Range Goats captain on a business case, clearly was sufficiently impressed. The two-time Masters champ opted for Campbell to replace Thomas Pieters, who joined Dustin Johnson’s 4Aces.

Luis Masaveu
The unheralded Spanish youngster Masaveu has replaced Eugenio Chacarra after his acrimonious exit from the LIV league. Masaveu joins Sergio Garcia’s Fireballs GC side only turned pro in October after a promising amateur career.
Frederik Kjettrup
bunkered.co.uk revealed that Kjettrup would complete Martin Kaymer’s Cleeks GC quartet. The European theme in Kaymer’s roster continues with the 24-year-old Danish pro who won three times on the PGA Tour Americas circuit season.
Yubin Yang
The 22-year-old Yang joins Kevin Na’s Iron Heads GC team for the 2025 season, replacing the relegated Scott Vincent. He was No.1 on the Korean Tour last year and withdrew from PGA Tour Q School to join LIV.
Lee Chieh-po
Lee Chieh-po – whose English name is Max Lee – secured the only guaranteed spot into the league through merit with his victory at LIV promotions. The 30-year-old from Chinese Taipei also won an Asian Tour International Series event in Thailand last season. He will join LIV unattached as a wildcard, alongside the returning Anthony Kim.
