7 huge names still to qualify for The Masters

Graeme Mc Dowell

Graeme McDowell

The Northern Irishman ended a three-and-a-half year winless drought on the PGA Tour last weekend when he won the Corales Puntacana Resort and Club Championship. However, there’s no Masters invite for winning that event, so McDowell needs to go back-to-back and win in Texas this week. The 2010 US Open champion has a dismal record at Augusta. He has played nine Masters but made the cut only three times, with a best finish of 12th in 2012, and has previously said that he has felt as though he needed “a padded cell” after finishing a round there.
