The DP World Tour season could hardly have ended any better for Paul Waring.
The 39-year-old Englishman claimed a second tour title – and a first in six years – at the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship.
With the win at Yas Links, Waring, a lifelong member of the Wentworth-based circuit, banked $1.53 million and a ticket to the PGA Tour.
He’s now one of three players to have secured their place in America for the 2025 season, alongside Thriston Lawrence and Rasmus Hojgaard.
Waring won by two from Tyrrell Hatton in second, buoyed by a course-record 11-under-par 61 on Saturday.
Now, he can enjoy the season finale that little bit more.
Here’s how much the rest of the field earned in the first leg of the DP World Tour play-offs.
