The DP World Tour closes out its Opening Swing this week at the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open.
It’s the only event on the circuit in the Indian Ocean nation and Mont Choisy Le Golf, in Grand Baie, will play host.
A few notable Europeans will be in action, including Open cult hero Dan Brown and former Ryder Cup star Nicolas Colsaerts.
Meanwhile, Louis Oosthuizen, who won the event at his co-designed La Reserve Links 12 months ago, will defend his title.
The championship is one of the newest on the block, too. Formerly sanctioned by the Asian Tour, it only began in 2015.
Now, though, it’s a product of the Sunshine Tour and DP World Tour.
And this year’s edition will mark only the second time Mont Choisy has hosted. Frenchman Antoine Rozner claimed the spoils here in 2022.

Here’s who the bookies fancy this week…

Angel Ayora 16/1
Wenyi Ding 22/1

Casey Jarvis 22/1
Jayden Schaper 25/1
The bunkered Bet
Kieran Vincent 35/1
The former LIV Golf man offers a bit of value this week in calmer waters than he’s been contesting. He is used to playing in these warmer conditions and despite struggling on LIV, found some form on the Asian Tour with a solid run. A top-ten finish at LIV Promotions will also have Vincent primed for this.
