AIG Women’s Open shop: Our 6 best finds under £50

If you’re heading to the AIG Women’s Open this week, you’re probably going to encounter some pretty rough weather. If you need to take cover, there’s not many better places than the official shop.

Located in the spectator village, which is going to play host to Tom Grennan and Fleur East on Saturday evening, the shop has been open since Monday, where some players and their families were stocking up on some memorabilia.

It’s no wonder, either. This is just the third time the AIG Women’s Open has been to the Old Course in its history. It’s a special occasion, and that makes for some special merchandise.

And no matter what you want to pick up, there’s something for everyone. From jumpers to head covers and ball markers to bucket hats, you’re covered.

To get you in the mood, we picked out six of the best finds in the AIG Women’s Open shop.

Saltire Tote Bag – £32

Firstly, we love the design of this for obvious reasons, but no golf bag is complete without a little valuables pouch. Ideal for tees, ball markers, pitch mark repairers, pencils, you name it.

If you want in on the saltire trend, but need something else, then you can look to the range of headcovers too. Certainly something to remember the week by.

Scorecard Holder – £20

You might not be writing the same numbers in here as the pros, but you can look like one with this scorecard holder.

Perfect for the serious golfer who wants to keep their yardage book or scorecard dry in the rough weather.

Adidas polo – £50

As you would expect, there’s plenty of apparel to pick from, but this is our favourite. We know the quality of Adidas polo shirts and this is no different.

Also, that colour is going to stand out anywhere. More neutral tones are available.

Bucket hat – £30

Who doesn’t love a bucket hat? By far our favourite piece of headwear from the AIG Women’s Open shop. Will keep the sun off your face or, more likely, the rain.

St Andrews towel – £20

There aren’t many golf towels you can call a thing of beauty, but this is legitimately one of them. Complete with an image of the AIG Women’s Open trophy on the Swilcan Bridge.

Almost too nice to clean your clubs with.

Plush Elephant – £20

What could we possibly say about this? Expect these to sell out quickly. Hippos also available.
