Jon Rahm will headline the Andalucia Masters this week as the Spaniard makes another homecoming on the DP World Tour.
Rahm has had a productive few weeks in LIV Golf’s off-season. This popular tournament at Real de Golf Sotogrande will complete his four-event quota to remain a DP World Tour member, which means the two-time major champion is eligible for next year’s Ryder Cup.
Just days after the birth of his third child, Rahm missed out on his fourth Spanish Open title last month in an epic playoff against countryman Angel Hidalgo.

After finishing tied seventh at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship in Scotland, he now heads to Sotogrande for an event that he has never previously won.
Adrian Meronk, who also defected to LIV before the 2024 season, won this event last season.
The field for this renewal, which marks the penultimate event on the DP World Tour’s ‘Back Nine’ stretch, also includes fellow Ryder Cup hopefuls Rasmus Højgaard, Matteo Manassero and Niklas Nørgaard.

Andalucía Masters betting tips
Here’s who the bookies fancy this week…
Jon Rahm 3/1
Rasmus Hojgaard 18/1
David Puig 22/1
Thorbjorn Olesen 22/1
Matt Wallace 28/1
Tom McKibbin 30/1
The bunkered bet
Jeff Winther 80/1
A strong outsider, but so is most of the field with Jon Rahm heading the market at ridiculously short odds. There is method to the Winther pick, however. The Dane finished just one shot behind Dan Bradbury at last week’s Open de France, and finished sixth at Sotogrande last year, owing only to a disappointing final round. He certainly seems worth an each way punt.
