The Florida Swing continues this week as the PGA Tour moves to Arnold Palmer’s Bay Hill Club and Lodge in Orlando.
This is a popular stop on the PGA Tour, with many of the best in the world teeing it up. The course at Bay Hill is often regarded as one of the most enjoyable layouts on Tour, and with the association to one of the greats of the game, this is an event the top players circle in their calendar.
Tiger Woods has a great history with this event. He is an eight-time champion here and four of those wins came consecutively between 2000 and 2003. Woods most recently won the event in 2013, a victory which took him to world No. 1 for the first time since 2010.
In 2014 and 2015, Matt Every secured back-to-back titles here. To date, these are Every’s only PGA Tour victories.
The closing hole here is one of the most iconic on the PGA Tour, with water running all the way up the right-hand side of the hole. Arnold Palmer famously hit a driver off the deck from the fairway here in 2004, a shot that is still fondly remembered today.
