The PGA Tour’s second Signature Event of the season takes place at an iconic venue, as the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am returns.
Pebble Beach Golf Links will host the final round of action, while forming a three-course rotation with Spyglass Hill and Monterey Peninsula between Thursday and Saturday.
And, as a Signature Event, only 80 players will line up to contest the bumper $20 million purse.
The winner will leave California with $3.6 million of that and, with no cut, there are some huge payouts to be earned in behind the leader.
Last year’s contest was cut short as heavy rain and strong winds led to the final round being cancelled. Wyndham Clark was prematurely crowned the winner on that dreary Sunday.
This year, the forecast looks a little brighter. No.1 Scottie Scheffler will make his first start of the year after suffering a freak injury on Christmas Day, with Rory McIlroy also returning Stateside for his first PGA Tour appearance of the season.
