The DP World Tour returns to Bahrain for the next leg of its ‘International Swing’.
The Wentworth-based circuit is staging a tournament in the Kingdom for the first time in 13 years at the Colin Montgomerie-designed Royal Golf Club from February 1-4.
Paul Casey, who now plays on the LIV Golf tour, won the last major golf event in Bahrain, the inaugural Volvo Golf Champions back in 2011.
Announcing the tournament back in September, outgoing DP World Tour chief executive Keith Pelley said: “We are excited to return to Bahrain in February as we continue to showcase our diverse array of tournaments in different countries and cultures across the world.”

The bunkered bet
Rasmus Hojgaard 10/1
Hojgaard is not too short as a favourite here, largely down to the standard of the field as well as his own promising start to the season. The 22-year-old followed up two 11th place finishes in Dubai with a runner-up finish at Ras Al Khaimah last week. He’ll fancy his chances this week.
