Golf lovers from companies around Scotland can take part in the second ever Business Fours golf event, with entries for the tournament now open and catering for golfers of all abilities.
Run by Business Fives – the popular five-a-side football tournament for football-loving businesses – Business Fours tees off in Glasgow on April 17 at Mar Hall’s stunning championship course.
It then heads up to Dundee to Monifieth Links before further golf days in Edinburgh, the Borders and Aberdeen.
The tournament provides the opportunity to meet new connections in a relaxed environment with companies having the choice of teams of four being split up for their round and, like Business Fives, there is a strong charity element to the tournament with 10% of all revenue going into a charity pot.
The destination of this donation will be decided by the winning company at the national final, which will take place on the Torrance Course at Fairmont St Andrews.
Tournament founder John McClarey – who is also behind Business Fives – said he hoped to build on the success of last year’s inaugural tournament.
“We are really looking forward to teeing off the new season of
Business Fours and we’re hoping to replicate the energy and enthusiasm
from last year’s events,” he said.
“The format was embraced by all the companies who took part and the
feedback was really positive with most of last year’s participants
already back involved, something which proves the formula works.”
