Eight lucky golfers will be joining #TeamCallaway this week on Sky Sports where their swings will be featured as part of the golf sponsorship idents brought to you by Callaway and its famous Big Bertha driver.
In a first for Callaway and Sky Sports, the five-second idents - being aired in the run up to the US Masters - will feature real Callaway fans using the new Big Bertha and Big Bertha Alpha drivers.
All eight of those featured took part in a social media campaign that was launched to support the Sky Sports golf sponsorship. They are:
• Andrew Picken, Horsley Lodge Golf Club
• Chris Swanson, Forrester Park Golf Club
• Ian Murgatroyd, Aylesbury Park Golf Club
• Jason Ward, Wrotham Heath Golf Club
• Matthew West, Thetford Golf Club
• Neal Gladwin, Rotherham Golf Club
• Shaun Cook, South Winchester Golf Club
• Luca Musacchio, Epsom Golf Club
In addition to the eight lucky amateurs, the new idents will also feature 12 Callaway Staff Ambassadors, and PGA professionals who are long-term supporters of the brand and located throughout the UK.
Since February 6, 2013, more than 1,500 idents featuring the brand's staff professionals have been aired on Sky Sports. However, beginning today, these new idents -showing the footage captured at Wentworth Golf Club - will be added to the rotation for the final few weeks of the campaign.
