Cognizant Classic 2024 prize money payout in full

Austin Eckroat sealed his maiden PGA Tour victory on his 50th attempt at the Cognizant Classic. 

Formerly known as the Honda Classic, the showpiece at the Jack Nicklaus-designed PGA National went to a Monday finish after a rain delay forced a Sunday washout.

And Eckroat, 25, sealed his breakthrough win on the US circuit with a ball-striking clinic in his final round, closing out a three-shot win after negotiating the treacherous finishing stretch known as the ‘Bear Trap.’

The American had 11 holes to play with a one-stroke lead pitching up on Monday, and played his final seven holes in two-under-par to post a closing 67 and finish comfortably ahead of Min Woo Lee and Erik van Rooyen.

Meanwhile, Shane Lowry lost his cool in the final round as his hopes of winning his second PGA Tour event faded with a closing 71.
