You’ve probably heard it said that golf, at its best, is an art. Craig Black has taken that literally.

A former professional footballer, Black has earned international acclaim as an innovative visual artist and has become particularly well-known for his signature “Acrylic Fusion” style.

It’s a venture that has seen him collaborate with the NFL, NBA, UEFA, Porsche, and others in recent years.

Now, he has turned his focus to golf.

Inspired by the opening credits of Netflix smash-hit Full Swing, ‘The Fusion Swing’ introduces Black’s acrylic fusion technique to the Royal & Ancient game for the first time.

A ‘celebration of artistry and athleticism’, the project has seen Black transform golf clubs, balls, and gloves into striking works of art, infusing them with a burst of colour and energy.

The project is designed to capture the essence of the golfer’s swing, translating that motion and power into visually expressive pieces.

“By applying my acrylic fusion technique onto a driver, putter, glove, and balls, ‘The Fusion Swing’ transcends traditional boundaries, transforming everyday sports equipment into pieces of art,” said Black.

“These are more than just a series of art pieces but also a celebration of the connection between art and sport.

“Each item in this collection is a one-of-a-kind creation that’s not just for show but are designed to inspire performance and spark creativity on the course.”

The unveiling of ‘The Fusion Swing’ comes hot on the heels of the launch of Black’s new online shop, where fans of his style can buy exclusive artworks, sculptures, and limited edition prints that have never been seen before.
