Police searched premises four days after LPGA star found dead alleges TMZ
Police investigating the death of LPGA golfer Erica Blasberg raided the offices and home of her doctor, reports from the US suggest.
It is alleged by US gossip site TMZ that Henderson police executed a search warrant and raided the offices and home of Las Vegas physician Thomas Hess on May 13 – just four days after the 25-year-old’s body was discovered in her Havana home.
The TMZ report alleged that Hess was ‘connected’ to Blasberg and that the pair had played golf together just two days before her death.
The report also stated that police could have been searching for ‘small blue oval pills in a 30-package blister pack’ and ‘white medium sized trash bags with no draw strings’.
TMZ also allege that Blasberg’s father Mel had confirmed that his daughter took Xanax, prescription anti-anxiety drugs, for the past few years.
It is unknown whether or not Hess was Blasberg’s personal physician, and police are yet to confirm whether the person from whom the 911 call was made on the discovery of her body was from a male or female.
The results of a toxicology report into Blasberg’s death are yet to be confirmed.
The investigation continues.
