Donald Trump has reportedly told advisors that he doesn’t plan to play golf at his courses, as part of huge changes to his travel.
A New York Times report claims people close to the matter are considering the modified schedule after threats to his life from Iran and two assassination attempts.
The most recent attempt was the second in roughly two months and occurred at Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida.
A man named Ryan W. Routh, 58, was said to have hidden inside shrubs on the outskirts of the golf course with a semiautomatic rifle.
The Florida man faces two firearm charges after the barrel of his gun was spotted by a Secret Service agent and he was caught by police later on a highway.

Trump’s ‘main source of relaxation’ is teeing it up at one of his 15 golf courses around the world, but that has been jeopardised by recent events.
“He has told advisors he is not planning to play golf – his main source of relaxation – at his courses,” the report reads.
Trump owns 18 golf properties, but one course in Oman and two courses in Indonesia are yet to be unveiled.
In a recent YouTube match with LIV Golf star Bryson DeChambeau, he hinted that his favourites are in Scotland.
When prompted by DeChambeau, Trump said: “Well, Aberdeen is so incredible. Turnberry is rated number one in the world.”

The challenge for officials is that Trump is “set in his ways and doesn’t like to change his routine”.
Meanwhile, the report also states that he is “happiest when he’s greeting people on the patios of his clubs.”
According to people briefed on the discussions, it could have a major impact on Trump’s campaigns in the final stretch of the presidential race.
Officials are weighing up changes to his campaign routines as well as travel plans, which could see him travel less on his own Trump-branded private jet.
