The DP World Tour heads back to Dubai for the final event of the season from November 14-17.
Rory McIlroy will headline the DP World Tour Championship field on the Earth Course, with an eye on yet more silverware.
The 35-year-old could win the event for a third time and a sixth Race to Dubai crown, overtaking Seve Ballesteros.
South Africa’s Thriston Lawrence is McIlroy’s closest challenger for the order of merit, but has to win at Jumeirah Estates and hope the Northern Irishman finishes outside the top-ten to usurp the four-time major champion.
There is a fascinating subplot to events in the Middle East, with the top ten players not already exempt earning PGA Tour cards for 2025.
As it stands, Thriston Lawrence, Rasmus Hojgaard, Paul Waring, Niklas Norgaard, Matteo Manassero, Jesper Svensson, Thorbjorn Olesen, Rikuya Hoshino, Sebastian Soderberg and Jordan Smith occupy the top ten, but with huge points on the line this week, expect changes.
A total prize purse of $10 million is also on the line with $3 million heading the way of the winner. Meanwhile, there are plenty of Ryder Cup points up for grabs, too.

The bunkered bet
Robert MacIntyre 22/1
McIlroy cannot be ignored for obvious reasons here but MacIntyre also looks primed to contend. He showed signs of his best golf in his T19 finish at Yas Links last week and knows what it takes to win a big title now. The Scot has made a run for the title on the Earth Course before in 2021.
