Dustin Johnson has addressed speculation that he and fiancée Paulina Gretzky have split.
Rumours have been rife that the couple – engaged since 2013 and parents to young children – have called time on their relationship after Paulina deleted every picture of world No.2 Johnson from her Instagram account at the weekend.
Both still follow one another’s accounts and Johnson has yet to remove any photos of the pair.
However, with speculation mounting that they have called it quits, and with the Ryder Cup only two weeks away, the former US Open champion took to Twitter last night to break his silence on the matter.
Every relationship goes through its ups and downs, but most importantly, we love each other very much and are committed to being a family. Thank you for your love and support.— Dustin Johnson (@DJohnsonPGA) September 11, 2018
Johnson, 34, will make his fourth Ryder Cup appearance at Le Golf National in a fortnight’s time.
The 19-time PGA Tour winner’s latest spell as world No.1 came to an end on Monday, when he was replaced at the top of the OWGR by England’s Justin Rose.
