The regular PGA Tour season is over and that means the FedEx Cup play-offs are here.

The FedEx St Jude Championship is the first of three events, culminating in the Tour Championship at East Lake.

A huge purse is on the line each week, starting at TPC Southwind on Thursday – where a 70-strong field will contest $20 million and a $3.6 million first prize.

Lucas Glover came from nowhere to make this his second consecutive PGA Tour win last season, firing himself into the play-off picture.

It’s made a knack for seeing historic moments on this side of the Atlantic, too.

Brian Harman became only the third player to record two holes-in-one in the same round in 2015, while Scottie Scheffler carded a 12-under 59 at TPC Boston in 2020.

Similarly impressive was Dustin Johnson’s tournament record winning score the same year. He beat Harris English by 11 to win with an aggregate of –30.
