The former home of world No.1 Rory McIlroy is up for sale – at a cost of £2.5million.
Robinhall House near Moneyreagh – about ten miles from Belfast – was home to McIlroy until early 2013 before he upped sticks and moved to a £6.5million riverside mansion in Palm Beach, Florida.
The house was bought by property developer Gary McCausland, who told the Belfast Telegraph he has ‘absolutely adored’ living there, but now needs to move due to work commitments.
And no wonder! It truly is any golfer’s dream – with a driving range, extensive practice area and putting green to US PGA standard all on the 14-acre site.
In addition to that, there’s a natural pond with 1,200 trout, a tennis court, an eight-person jacuzzi and a cinema! Estate agent Simon Brien, who is handling the sale, says the property is ‘excellent value’ as it’s worth nearer £4million.
Below are some pictures of inside and outside the 'bargain' mansion, with full details found on propertypal.com.
