A former home of the legendary Arnold Palmer is up for sale, and you now have the chance the buy it. There is one catch, of course.

The property, located on the second hole of the course he built at Tradition Golf Club near Palm Springs, California, has hit the market at $5 million.

That rules us out, but if you have the cash to splash on this dream home, then here’s the deal.

With four bedrooms and five bathrooms, it doesn’t only offer sweeping views of the neighbouring mountains but also the 18-hole course Palmer designed.

52123 Dunlevie Court offers 2,617 square foot of interior space and is a remarkably rare piece of golf history.

“As you enter through the grand wooden door, the open concept living space seamlessly blends with the stunning views beyond the custom sliders, where sweeping mountain vistas and lush golf course views unfold to the south,” reads the listing at Sotheby’s.

“Exquisitely appointed, the great room features impressive 16-foot wood beam ceilings, Arto Saltillo heated pavers, and an inviting fireplace, all offered designer-furnished per inventory.

“The primary suite, formerly Mr. Palmer’s personal office with a charming fireplace alcove, exudes timeless character. The fully remodelled primary bathroom, designed with custom built-in cabinets, Axor fixtures and limestone countertops, maximises functionality and offers a custom-made walk-in closet.

“The guest quarters feature two en-suite bedrooms, each opening onto a private patio. Conveniently positioned on the opposite side of the main living area, these guest accommodations are gracefully separated from the primary suite and its adjoining bedroom, ensuring an enhanced sense of privacy.

“The kitchen has been modernised with DeWils shaker cabinetry, Cesar stone countertops and Fisher & Paykel appliances. The rear patio was graciously expanded with the seamless transformation of extending the Saltillo tiles.

“This home resonates with the spirit of Mr. Palmer, who treasured Rancho Relaxo as his West Coast retreat.”
