Three weeks is a long time in golf, and it’s felt that way after a break from the PGA Tour, but its back after the FedEx Cup play-offs.
The Fortinet Championship will mark the return of men’s professional golf in America and Justin
Thomas has committed to the event.
Thomas will be looking to sharpen up his game before the Ryder Cup after a torrid season, while Max Homa will bid for the Fortinet hat-trick.
He has won the last two running’s of the event in his home state of California.
Expect the players to get a good reception this week, as the Fortinet Championship was voted the most fan-friendly event on the PGA Tour.

The bunkered bet
Max Homa 15/2
Homa headlines the field after another strong season on the PGA Tour and looks primed to repeat his previous heroics at the Fortinet. He’s on for the hat-trick and when you combine his elite scoring and scrambling, it’s not hard to see why. Homa’s last three finishes have been T9, T5, and T6, so after a Ryder Cup scouting mission in Rome, he’ll be fit and firing.
