With Scotland outlining its bid to host the 2019 Solheim Cup at Gleneagles, we've taken a look back at some of the great Scottish memories at matches over the years.


The Home of Golf has played host to two previous Ryder Cups, which resulted in Europe's first two wins at the biennial tournament - Dalmahoy in 1992 and Loch Lomond in 2000 - and some of the finest players to come out of Scotland have helped Europe to vital wins over the years, although they still trail USA 8-5 from the previous 13 matches played.
