Want to play more golf on holiday, for less? Well, see Golfamore. This is your ticket to over 1,400 European courses at half of the regular green fee.
Originally known as Golfhäftet, Golfamore has moved away from its Scandinavian roots and became more international.
After offering just 100 Swedish courses, golfers can now choose from over 1,400 European courses in 25 different countries.
Of course, Southern Europe attracts golf enthusiasts all year round and Golfamore has quite the offer. Over 300 courses in Spain, Portugal and Italy are available at half the green fee.
Almost 150 of those are in Spain and while you’re spoiled for choice, it’s hard to look past Parador de El Saler, Buenavista Golf and Almenara Golf Club.

Built in 1968, Parador de El Saler is considered one of the very best golf courses in Europe, resting on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea on the outskirts of Valencia.
Buenavista, meanwhile, designed by Seve Ballesteros is another with commanding ocean views in the Canary Islands, whereas Almenara is a typical Sotogrande layout, in immaculate condition and flanked by huge trees.
In Portugal, there are almost 50 courses in the Golfamore network.

The highlights include Quinta do Vale, in the Algarve region. Europe’s number one golf hotspot is home to the 18-hole championship layout that doglegs around water hazards.
Those in the capital city of Lisbon must check out Penha Longa, located in a serene mountainous landscape, while Santo da Serra in Madeira is a gem.
Renowned for its scenery, the club boasts three different championship course combinations of 18 holes and there are fewer places better to end the day than in the majestic clubhouse.
There is a worthy substitute to Spain and Portugal, though. The wonderful array of golf courses in Italy only adds to the appeal of a rich culture and amazing food.

Best of all is the value-for-money green fees on over 100 courses. So, whether it’s San Domenico Golf, Argentario Golf & Wellness Resort or Golf Biella Le Betulle, Italy is unmissable.
In the south, the Puglian countryside meets the Adriatic Sea at San Domenico Golf, providing a prestigious links course with exceptional views and gentle slopes.
At the opposite end of the country, Golf Biella Le Betulle is a charming countryside layout that presents itself best in the spring.
And saving perhaps the best until last, Argentario Golf & Wellness Resort in Tuscany is the only PGA National Course in Italy. Set to host the DP World Tour’s Italian Open in 2025, it ranks among the world’s best golf resorts.
