Ian Poulter was a late arrival in the EurAsia Cup team room in Malaysia after spending his 40th birthday weekend in Las Vegas.

But when the Englishman did touch down at Glenmarie Golf & Country Club in Kuala Lumpur, the European team made sure that there was a belated birthday gift waiting for him - although to say he didn't like it was an understatement! Lee Westwood captured all the reaction on his Instagram account.

Here's the video. You can fill in the blanks!!!

Looks as though the video managed to cut off just in time!

But Poulter, a massive Arsenal fan, it seems, was able to come around and see the funny side of it.

He's smiling but not sure poults appreciated the 40th birthday present the team got him!

Poulter and Westwood were late additions to Team Europe's EurAsia Cup team, as captain Darren Clarke looked to add some experience to what was, and still is, a fairly young team. All 12 players will be looking to impress the 2016 Ryder Cup skipper this week, with only Poulter, Westwood, Victor Dubuisson and Ross Fisher having played in the biennial match before.
