Brian Campbell is a two-time PGA Tour winner after claiming the John Deere Classic – and another huge prize money payout.

The American defeated Emiliano Grillo in the first hole of a play-off at TPC Deere Run on Sunday to continue his remarkable season.

Campbell, 32, has only finished inside the top 30 on two occasions this year, however both have resulted in a win.

From the $8.4 million purse, he banked just north of $1.5 million, around $600,000 more than Argentinian Grillo who was forced to settle for around $915,000.
