Jordan Spieth is halfway to winning all four majors this year and, at the same time, halfway to a career slam at the age of just 21.
But after such a successful few months, which also included winning the Valspar Championship on the PGA Tour back in March, what is the American’s secret?
“I can't give my secrets away, that wouldn't be right,” joked Spieth after his one-shot triumph at Chambers Bay. “But it's a mental attitude, it's a certain focus, it's a certain preparation.”
"There's always a way to get better"- Jordan Spieth
And heading into the Open at St Andrews in three weeks’ time, Spieth issued a warning to his rivals that he will maintain his current levels of commitment to stay at the top of his game as he closed the gap to world No.1 Rory McIlroy in the rankings after the Northern Irishman's ninth-placed finish at the second major of the year.
“I can improve in all aspects of my game, I believe that,” said the Texan. “And there's always a way to get better.”
What’s also certain is that Titleist brand ambassador Spieth clearly has a huge amount of faith in the contents of his bag, and below you can find out what he used for his US Open success at Chambers Bay.
