JORDAN SPIETH | THE OPEN
Jordan Spieth has given the reasons behind his club selection for the Open Championship at St Andrews as he aims to land his third major title of the year.
The 21-year-old, who won wire-to-wire at the Masters before capitalising on a three-putt from Dustin Johnson to capture the US Open at Chambers Bay last month, revealed that he made some minor alterations to his bag in preparation for tackling the Old Course.
"I switched to new wedges last week to get ready for the Open Championship," said Spieth in a video with Titleist. "My 52-degree goes to about 125 yards so I'll be using that on a lot of full shots and bump and runs into the bank."
A couple of things the two-time major winner certainly hasn't changed his 2015 Titleist Pro V1x ball, which has used throughout late 2014 and all of his wins this year and also his Scotty Cameron Prototype 009 putter, which he has owned for six years.
Take a look at what else Spieth has in his bag in the video below.
