• It was three days after he posted a photoshopped pic of biceps
• Judging by his reaction, he isn't concerned about the outcome
JUSTIN THOMAS | PGA TOUR
Justin Thomas has revealed he was drug-tested by the PGA Tour – just three days after posting a photoshopped image of him flexing his biceps.
The 23-year-old, who made it all the way to last season’s Tour Championship at East Lake, posted to Instagram on Sunday, saying: “With the 2 week off season over, glad to show the results from really hitting it hard in the gym.
“Should be driving all holes under 450 yards now #gainz #swollmonkey.”
Just a coincidence, perhaps? Either way, Justin Thomas took to Twitter to break the news that the picture was indeed photoshopped and, judging by the laughing-crying emoji, he doesn’t seem to be too concerned about the outcome.
Of course after my photoshop job looking like I have last week, it's only right I got drug tested today— Justin Thomas (@JustinThomas34) October 12, 2016
Meanwhile, competing in this week's Safeway Open, Thomas announced that he will be donating money for every birdie towards relief efforts for Hurricane Matthew.
"The devastation to so many families and communities is heartbreaking" - Justin Thomas
“The last week has been a tough time for many people in south-eastern US, Haiti and the Bahamas," said Thomas. "The devastation to so many families and communities is heartbreaking, and I want to help.
“For the next three tournaments (Safeway, CIMB and HSBC), I will donate $250 for every birdie to Convoy of Hope. I challenge you all to join me the next three weeks...every little bit helps!”
