Keegan Bradley could barely have dreamt of a better Presidents Cup.
The 38-year-old, who will captain the US Ryder Cup team in 2025, nailed the winning putt for his side in Montreal.
It capped a dominant seven-point victory for Jim Furyk’s charge, and Bradley is aiming to replicate the success at Bethpage Black in 12 months.
That could be, at large, based on his learnings from Furyk.
“We’re going to copy a lot of what Jim Furyk did this week,” he said.
“What Jim did with the team room, team meetings, pairings, what he did on Sunday through Wednesday – having us play matches against each other – you’re not going to find a tougher match than within our own team.

“It’s like when the Patriots practiced against their defense back in the day. You’re going to sharpen yourself there.
“I learned a lot, and I hope Jim is proud of what he’s done here.”
A key decision for Bradley in the coming months will be who he selects to wear red, white and blue in New York.
The PGA of America announced recently that LIV Golf players will be eligible to play for the 2025 US Ryder Cup team.
But breaking into Bradley’s plans could prove difficult, after he outlined one ‘hope’ for his team.
“He [Furyk] set a culture here for us, and we’re going to carry that over into Bethpage,” Bradley said.
“And I hope a lot of these 12 are on that team.

“You always hear about the US team room not being whatever, but this is the greatest team room I’ve ever been a part of.
“I’ve never seen a group of guys more friends than these guys are. I’m sort of new to the group, but they inspire me because they truly want what’s best for each other.
“When they’re inside the ropes, they want to kill each other, but when they’re outside the ropes, they care for each other, and they’re just great people.”
Players have begun accruing points in the qualification race, although points for the 2025 season will not be confirmed until next year’s PGA Tour schedule is announced.
In August, Bradley said: “I’m going to have the best 12 players, so the PGA of America, they need to figure that out, if that’s their problem.”
