LIV Golf has confirmed that it has signed a multi-year deal with American television network FOX Sports.

The Saudi-backed circuit has longed for a place to broadcast its worldwide schedule and, finally, LIV has struck a deal.

Starting in February, FOX Sports will air live coverage of the league’s 14-tournament schedule with events in the US, Asia, Australia, Europe and Latin America.

Throughout LIV’s third official season, all three days of tournament competition will air live across the network, with more than half of the events airing on FOX or FS1.

FS2, FOX Business Network and the FOX Sports App will also air select rounds, while all LIV coverage will be streamed to LIV Golf+ app subscribers.

“We are thrilled to partner with FOX Sports, one of the preeminent broadcast networks in the world,” said LIV Golf CEO Scott O’Neil.

“LIV Golf is getting bigger and bolder, and this relationship signals the next phase of growth as our League joins the company of the nation’s premier sports leagues and conferences.

“I want to thank the FOX Sports team who share our vision for the future of golf, a new model that is redefining how the sport is experienced.

“LIV Golf is drawing a younger, more active and tech-savvy fan base, and as our players and teams prepare for LIV Golf’s biggest season yet, this agreement will take our broadcast to new heights.”

Jordan Bazant, Executive Vice President of FOX Sports said the addition of LIV Golf is “a natural fit for FOX Sports’ prominent slate of big events, world-class names and premium sports coverage”.

LIV has also confirmed that its Club 54 pre- and post-round shows will remain hosted by Christian Crosby with analysis from Rachel Drummond, Jerry Foltz, Su-Ann Heng, and Dom Boulet.

“Having FOX Sports on board is a huge win for LIV Golf,” said Brooks Koepka, captain of Smash GC.

“They know how to bring sports to life, and I’m pumped to see how they showcase what makes our game so unique.

“It’s awesome to have a partner that shares our vision, and I think the fans are going to love what’s coming.”

The deal comes as LIV announced O’Neil had replaced Greg Norman as CEO yesterday.

Norman, 69, had previously labelled LIV’s TV “headwinds” as one of the circuit’s few failures during his tenure.
