LIV Golf have handed Anthony Kim another wildcard for the 2025 season.
The American, who made a shock return from a 12-year recluse to tee it up in the season-opener in Jeddah last season, will make his first appearance of the new season in Riyadh.
The Saudi-backed breakaway league kicks off its fourth campaign under the lights in the Saudi capital, with Kim looking for an improvement on last season’s understandably rusty comeback.
The 39-year-old banked close to $1million in prize money, but mustered a high finish of 36th in Greenbrier and failed to register a single point in the individual standings.

Now the intrigue surrounding the former Ryder Cup player has dissipated, this second season appears crucial as he plots his new path in the professional game.
Last year, Kim had Hudson Swafford for company as the league’s only other wildcard, but the 37-year-old American has been dropped after a poor season plagued by a hip injury.
In 2025, Kim’s fellow wildcard will be the winner of the LIV Golf Promotions event, which took place at the very same desert venue as this week’s season-opener.
Lee Chieh-po, whose English name is Max Lee, will make his LIV debut on Thursday as a wildcard having spent several years impressing on the Asian Tour circuit.

The 30-year-old from Chinese Taipei won his first International Series title on the Asian Tour in Thailand last season and won $200,000 as well his guaranteed LIV contract for winning in December’s Promotions event.
He will begin his LIV career in Thursday’s shotgun start alongside fellow new signing Luis Masaveu and the American Andy Ogletree.
Kim will play alongside two-time Masters champion Bubba Watson and Crushers GC player Anirban Lahiri during the opening round of the season.
