LIV Golf reveals new destination for 2025

LIV Golf will visit Korea for the first time in 2025 after confirming six more dates on a refreshed schedule.

The Saudi-backed circuit will head to the Jack Nicklaus Golf Club Korea next May for the fifth event of its season after stops in Riyadh, Hong Kong, Adelaide and Singapore.

The Korean venue, located near the capital Seoul, is the same layout that hosted the Genesis Championship on the DP World Tour last month. The DP World Tour are yet to announce their venue for the tournament after releasing its full schedule for 2025.

LIV will also return to Valderrama in Spain and JCB Golf & Country Club in England either side next year’s Open at Royal Portrush.

A new tournament in America has been confirmed as the breakaway league heads to Indianapolos for a new event, while there will also be returns to Chicago and Dallas.

“Bringing LIV Golf to South Korea is another significant milestone as we continue to expand throughout Asia, and our inaugural event in Indy will be a perfect match for a community steeped in sports history and tradition,” LIV commissioner Greg Norman said.

“We’re excited to build on the tremendous success we had last year at new LIV Golf venues in Chicago, Dallas and the UK, where we set new league attendance records and saw dramatic competition on the course.

“And our partnership with Andalucía continues to deliver a memorable experience for players and fans at Valderrama, a one-of-a-kind venue in Spain.”
