LIV Golf 2026 schedule set to include two new events

The LIV Golf League’s 2026 season is taking shape.

The breakaway circuit continues to plough its own furrow while its benefactors, the Saudi Public Investment Fund, are in stalling negotiations with the PGA Tour and the DP World Tour.

And that means LIV’s plans for next season are already at an advanced stage.

The Sports Business Journal‘s Josh Carpenter has reported the likely 14-event calendar for the 2026 season, which again has a strong international feel.

With nine tournaments set to take place outside the US, the LIV circuit will travel around the globe in a busy first few months before April’s Masters.

That will reportedly include a stop in South Africa for the first time.

Stinger GC, LIV’s South African team, have been lobbying for a home tournament in 2026.

There is also set to be a new event in New Orleans in 2026, the final LIV tournament before the Open Championship at Royal Birkdale.

The two new events mean that others will be axed.

The Miami event staged at Donald Trump’s Blue Monster course at Doral, is notably not on the schedule.

The venue is known as one of the toughest on the LIV schedule, but looks set to be replaced along with the stop in Dallas, which is also not listed.

There will be visits again to Spain and the UK, though the tournament venues have not yet been confirmed.
