It all comes down to LIV Golf’s Team Championship in Dallas this week.

A total of $50 million is on the line, with the winning team set to walk away with $14 million.

Maridoe Golf Club will play host to an entirely different format, with a combination of match and stroke play determining a winner.

Jon Rahm captured the individual title last week and his Legion XIII side will go in as the number two seed, as the Spaniard seeks a double.

The defending champions, Bryson DeChambeau’s Crushers GC, are the top seed.

Quarterfinals take place on Friday, with the top three teams receiving a bye, which leaves the remaining ten teams competing in head-to-head matches.

That will leave eight teams competing in Saturday’s semifinals before half of them vie for the Team Championship title on Sunday.

However, all 52 players will tee it up in individual stroke play to finalise the leaderboard.

The favourites for this week’s team championship deserve to be. Jon Rahm has his own Ryder Cup problems unravelling, but he can use his match play nous to good effect in Dallas. After criticism over his performance in majors this year, Rahm would love to add a team championship to his individual triumph last week. Tyrrell Hatton finished fourth in that event, too, so the Team Europe pair are in top form.
