A total of four LIV Golf stars will tee it up in the DP World Tour’s season-ending play-offs next month.
Jon Rahm and Tyrrell Hatton were expected to play in the Middle East after a late push for Race to Dubai points.
But they won’t be the only LIV stars at the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship and the DP World Tour Championship.
Speaking at a media session earlier this week, Adrian Meronk confirmed he and Joaquin Niemann will make a trip to the UAE.
“Joaquin Niemann is going to play both the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship and the DP World Tour Championship,” Meronk said.

“All of us from LIV Golf that are eligible are coming for the play-offs: me, Niemann, Jon Rahm and Tyrrell Hatton. 100 percent.”
For Niemann, currently ranked 32nd in the Race to Dubai standings, it will mark a debut in both DP World tour events.
Meronk, meanwhile, is ranked 38th, leaving both well within the top 70 and top 50 cutoffs to qualify for each event.
Prize funds of nine and ten million dollars, respectively, are at stake, as well as valuable world ranking points – the key factor behind the decision to play.

The PGA Championship tends to invite the world’s top 100, so with Meronk at 90 and Niemann at 136 in the OWGR, the events could be crucial for their major prospects in 2025.
Neither player currently has any major exemptions for next year.
“I’ve got three tournaments left this year to improve my world ranking,” said Meronk, a four-time DP World Tour winner.
“I’ll be playing both events in the UAE and the International Series tournament in Saudi in December. Dubai and Abu Dhabi will offer big points, so we’ll see where I stand afterward.”
