Another three major champions have committed to this year’s Genesis Scottish Open at The Renaissance Club.
The Roles Series event, won last year by Robert MacIntyre, will welcome the Oban man back alongside a raft of huge names.
Former champion Justin Rose and six-time PGA Tour winner Max Homa have also been confirmed for the event, but they’ve now got some new company.
Major winners Matt Fitzpatrick, Collin Morikawa and Justin Thomas will return to the Genesis Scottish Open this year, adding to the already stellar field.
Morikawa, who lifted the Claret Jug one year after winning the PGA Championship in 2020, has played this tournament twice and finished T4 last year.

“The Genesis Scottish Open holds good memories for me, as part of that exciting year in 2021 when I went on to win The Open and the Race to Dubai,” the world No.4 said.
“I had another positive week at Renaissance Club last year, and I’m looking forward to getting back to Scotland this summer.”
Fitzpatrick, meanwhile, won his maiden major in 2022 at the US Open and is set for a remarkable 12th consecutive appearance in the Genesis Scottish Open.
The Englishman lost in a three-man play-off in 2021, but he has won in Scotland, courtesy of his success at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship in 2023.
“The Genesis Scottish Open, as a Rolex Series event in the Home of Golf, is always a week I look forward to,” he said.
“I’ve had good results there in the past, and a recent win in Scotland to build on, so it will be great to tee it up again this summer.”

And for Thomas, a 15-time winner on the PGA Tour, he’ll look to build on his impressive recent form and add to his previous pair of top ten finishes in this event.
“Scotland has been part of my career since the beginning, so it’s fun that I have the chance to come back every season,” the American said.
“The whole Genesis Scottish Open experience is always enjoyable, and I’ve had some good results in the past, so I’m looking forward to the week again this year.”
Weekend package tickets for this July’s contest have sold out, but fans can still purchase tickets for each of the four days in East Lothian.
