Featuring 27 holes of absolutely stunning traditional links golf, Barassie Links showcases Ayrshire golf at its finest.

The club hosted the R&A Junior Open while the Open was at Royal Troon in 2016 and also played host to AAM Scottish Open Qualifying in 2017, receiving compliments and praise throughout both. In 2019, it will host the Scottish Women’s Amateur Championship and, in 2020, the R&A Ladies Championship.

Barassie’s challenging fairways and greens make for an excellent test, while the humps and hollows of the land give the quirky bounces that can only be associated with a traditional links layout. The shorter Hillhouse layout, meanwhile, offers a great nine holes for those wanting a quicker and more relaxed round.

Thanks to its location – right next to Barassie train station – its friendly approach and stunning year-round condition, Barassie Links is a fine option for club membership.
