As is customary, The Masters will kick off the men’s major golf season in 2022, the 86th edition of the tournament taking place in its traditional April slot. Hideki Matsuyama will attempt to become just the fourth player to successfully defend the Green Jacket but with all due respect to the Japanese ace, the real fascination in the build-up will be what changes, if any, are made to the course to toughen it up.
