The DP World Tour continues its African swing this week, as the players head to South Africa.

This is the first of two consecutive events in South Africa, and a decent field has assembled to battle it out on this Jack Nicklaus designed golf course.

This is the inaugural MyGolfLife open, and the first time Pecanwood has hosted a DP World Tour event, so it’s a relative unknown for players and fans alike. As you would expect, there’s a strong contingent of South African players in the field.

This is a co-sanctioned event with The Sunshine Tour. It’s also running alongside The PLAYERS Championship, so anyone who just missed out on that field is likely to be teeing it up here as well.

Let’s take a look at all the details you need to know ahead of the week…

MyGolfLife Open details

Course Stats: Par 72, 7697 yards

Date: March 10-13 2022

The bunkered Bet:

Dean Burmester: The South African comes into this week in good form, with a solid outing at the Magical Kenya Open last week. On home soil, we reckon he’ll be in for another strong week.

MyGolfLife Open: How can I watch it on TV?

With The PLAYERS on this week, it appears Sky Sports Golf will have wall-to-wall coverage of that. If you want to follow along with the action, keep up to date on the DP World Tour website where you’ll find live scoring.
