The DP World Tour returns to one of its most famous courses this week.
Widely regarded as one of the most stunning tour venues, Crans-sur-Sierre plays host to tour action from the Alps.
Who could forget last year’s edition, when Ludvig Aberg announced himself on the big stage, winning for the first time as a professional.
It catapulted the Swedish star into the limelight and onto Luke Donald’s Ryder Cup team. Aberg was announced as one of six captain’s picks.
While Aberg doesn’t lineup this year, Ryder Cup teammate Matt Fitzpatrick will return to the DP World Tour.
Fitzpatrick, who won the event in 2017 and 2018, will aim to emulate Seve Ballesteros as a three-time winner of the Omega European Masters.
It was founded over 100 years ago, in 1923, as the Swiss Open before dropping the Swiss title in 1992.
Since then, legends of the game have lifted the title, from Nick Faldo to Bobby Locke. Meanwhile, former LPGA Tour star Michelle Wie West competed on a special invite in 2006.

The Italian is back where he belongs and that’s on the big stage. This week, it’s a rare escape from the bomber’s paradise courses we tend to see in the pro game. At under 7,000 yards, it stands to reason that accuracy over length is the aim of the game this week. Matt Fitzpatrick is the obvious favourite, but Manassero has been one of the best players on the DP World Tour with an iron in his hand this year.
Please gamble responsibly.
