The national opens keep rolling around on the DP World Tour, and it’s off to France this week.
One of golf’s most familiar European venues, Le Golf National, plays host again – after welcoming the Olympic Games in August.
The 2018 Ryder Cup venue has been the host course since 1991, except for 1999 and 2001, when the championship took place at Medoc and Lyon, respectively.
Inaugurated in 1906, it’s the oldest event of its kind in Continental Europe and has been a permanent fixture on the DP World Tour since the circuit’s inception.
Former US Open champion and world No.1 Justin Rose will headline this year’s field, as the end of season play-offs loom.
Meanwhile, Billy Horschel, Nicolai Hojgaard and Danny Willett add more firepower to the lineup in Paris.
For several tour pros, earning more Race to Dubai points here will be crucial in a bid to secure a PGA Tour card for next season.

Thorbjorn Olesen 25/1
With another strong performance at Le Golf National, the Dane could move closer to sealing a PGA Tour card for 2025. He finished runner-up here on debut and has finished 10th and 20th since, as well as a T14 effort at the Olympics in August. A winner of last week’s team championship at the Dunhill Links, Olesen might just be hitting his peak for the season.
