Patrick Reed will join two more big names from LIV Golf on the DP World Tour when he plays in the Spanish Open this week.
Reed has been invited by tournament organisers for his debut at the historic Tour stop from September 26-29 in Madrid.
It’s the third time the American has switched domains this season, having finished T29 in the Italian Open and T13 in the BMW International Open in Germany.

Reed secured his spot in the ‘Lock Zone’ on the LIV league and will play alongside his 4Aces captain Dustin Johnson again next season.
And he has now headed straight to the Spanish capital alongside a strong LIV contingent, including Jon Rahm and Tyrrell Hatton.
Reed was offered a sponsor’s invite and is able to compete having settled his outstanding sanctions with the DP World Tour.
Rahm and Hatton, meanwhile, are both allowed to compete at Club de Campo Villa de Madrid having launched appeals against the sanctions imposed against them for playing in conflicting LIV events.

It had appeared Rahm would be unable to compete in the national open that he was on three occasions having failed to settle his fines with Wentworth HQ, but his late legal challenge has secured his place on the entry list.
It means Rahm is back on track to play the three tournaments he needs to fulfil his DP World Tour quota and remain eligible for the European Ryder Cup team.
The two-time major champion’s LIV compatriots David Puig and Eugenio Chacarra are also in the field via the National Spots category, meaning Sergio Garcia is the only Spaniard on the Saudi-backed circuit not making the journey to the £2.9million tournament.
