In fact, the extortionate costs might even put some of the estimated 200,000 spectators at the North Carolina venue off.
For the second men’s major of the year, all general admission ticket holders are entitled to unlimited food and non-alcoholic beverages, thanks to a Championship+ perk.
However, it doesn’t stretch to beers, wines, or spirits.
As posted on X by Josh Carpenter of the Sports Business Journal, some drinks reach an eye-watering high of $24.50 a pop.
That’s what a double speciality cocktail would you set you back, while a single ‘transfusion’, ‘mulligan’, ‘the champ’ or ‘the ace’ will cost $18.50 each.

A classic cocktail is priced at $16.50, while a high noon tequila seltzer is $15.50 and a regular chardonnay is $13.50 per glass.
What is the most expensive beer, you ask? Well, that will be a 19.2 oz (equivalent to one pint) premium beer, priced at a staggering $18.50 each.
Meanwhile, a 16oz premium beer is $15.50 and an American lager – either Michelob Ultra or Bud Light – will cost $14.50 per drink.
More than 1,000 people are involved with the food and drink experience at this week’s championship.
According to Eric Babcook, Patina Group general manager for PGA of America championships, it’s expected to go through 15,000 cases of beer, 5,600 bottles of vodka and 3,200 bottles of bourbon throughout the week.

Even projecting beer sales based on the cheapest beer – and taking 12 bottles of Michelob Ultra per case – the championship would rake in $174 per case and over $2.6 million in total.
The prices represent an increase on last year’s tournament at Valhalla, too.
Tents at the 2024 championship sold alcoholic beverages, including Michelob Ultra, for $14, with premium beer at $15 each and a seltzer for $15.
Some fans labelled the prices at Oak Hill in 2023 a ‘disgrace’, as several items reached $20.
