Not one, not two, but three family members will tee it up on the Korn Ferry Tour this week.

Scott, Luke and Trevor Gutschewski are all in the field for the Pinnacle Bank Championship but, wait for it.

The trio have been grouped together for the opening round in their hometown of Omaha, Nebraska.

At 9:57am on Thursday, the Gutschewskis will head off from the tenth tee at The Club at Indian Creek in the best possible pairing.

For Luke and Trevor, it will be their PGA Tour-sanctioned debuts, while Scott – a three-time winner on the KFT– makes his first start of the year.

Luke is a rising junior at Iowa State and Trevor, 17, is the reigning U.S. Junior Amateur champion following his win at Oakland Hills in July.

But Scott had only dreamed of teeing it up on tour alongside his oldest sons.

“I thought there was a chance at some point that Luke and I may kind of cross paths depending on how long I could still walk and everything but, yeah, Trevor was definitely a huge surprise,” he told KMTV.

Luke won the Nebraska Closed Qualifier to get into this week’s event and has some USGA silverware of his own.

He was the co-medalist at the 2022 US Amateur at Ridgewood and says his dad has prepared him and his brother for their breakthrough moments.

“I guess probably more than anything I think he’s taught how to be a professional and how we carry ourselves, handle our practice, handle dealing with people,” he said.

The Omaha-born father was originally supposed to tee it up in the Wyndham Championship on the PGA Tour this week.

But Gutschewski didn’t get into the field and at number 215 on the FedEx Cup standings, even a win in North Carolina would not have put him into the play-off picture.

The 47-year-old has made just four cuts from his 16 appearances on the Tour this season and will need to move into the top 125 through the Fall Series to keep his card.

At least this week, Gutschewski has some home comfort on the course.
