“Pitiful” and “overrated”: Tour pro rages at US PGA course

Southern Hills has proved a tough test at the PGA Championship – and it’s not been to everyone’s liking.

Tyrrell Hatton made his feelings known on the greens, and he’s not alone.

After round three, PGA Tour star Patton Kizzire took to Instagram to criticise the setup in Oklahoma.

“Pitiful golf on a pitiful setup on an overrated golf course,” Kizzire wrote.

His views might have something to do with the fact he shot a 78 on Saturday, moving him to 12-over for the tournament.

Kizzire’s round included four bogeys in his last five holes.

He wasn’t the only player to struggle – several big names toiled in tough weather conditions during round three.
