One of Scotland’s most prestigious golf courses, Trump International Golf Links, is giving visitors the chance to tee it up for just £75 this week.

Of course, there is a twist.

The Trump-owned venue in Aberdeen hosts several competitions and events each year and they don’t always consist of 18 holes. Or, in fact, teeing it up in daylight.

That’s right, golfers can play the world-class links this Thursday or Friday at night and for a fraction of the standard green fee.

Two nights, called ‘Night Golf, Burger & Beer’, provide you exactly that on January 16 or 17.

It’s hard enough playing winter golf in Scotland, never mind in the dark, but Trump International has it covered.

The event takes place over five holes of the championship links course with a neon glow ball. Meanwhile, fairways, flags and holes will be illuminated by neon glow sticks.

Tee times are from 4.30pm to 7pm and the package will include a a burger and a pint of beer.

An advert on the Trump International website reads: “Tee off under the stars on the ‘World’s Greatest Links Course’.

“Get a group together and play five holes of the championship links course with a neon glow ball guided by neon glow sticks through the ‘Great Dunes of Scotland’ to illuminated fairways, flags and holes.

“Prepare to swing, savour, and sizzle!”

It might be worth packing an extra layer or two, as temperatures are expected to be around 6°C on Thursday evening and 8°C on Friday night.

Still, Trump International commands a summer green fee of up to £435, so the event offers a huge discount.

In other Trump-related news, US President-elect Donald reportedly shot a four-under-par 68 to win the 2025 Senior Club Championship at Trump International Golf Club at Palm Beach on Sunday.

That begs the question, could he do it on a cold Thursday night in Aberdeen?
